Product Description

Metoprene 0.5 is a highly effective larvicide in effervescent tablets , designed to control mosquito larvae (including tiger mosquitoes) in outdoor environments. It acts through ingestion and contact , simulating the action of the juvenile hormone and preventing the transformation of the larva into an adult insect , thus interrupting the development cycle of the infestation.

Thanks to their effervescent formulation , the tablets dissolve easily in water, making application quick, safe, and extremely effective. Ideal for treating any stagnant water , such as manholes, wells, fountains, tires, ponds, canals, and septic tanks.

How to Use

The recommended doses vary according to the type of water:

• Clear water : 1 2 g tablet per 1,000–2,000 litres

• Water with high organic load : 1 tablet per 500–1,000 litres

• Manholes and confined spaces : 1 tablet per 40 litres

🗓 Recommended period for treatment : from March to October

🔁 Repeat every 2-4 weeks , depending on temperature, water cleanliness, and in case of heavy rainfall.

Safety Warnings
