LEGAL BASIS AND MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF PROCESSING The legal bases used by Hertz Srl to process personal data, according to the purposes indicated in the following Article 4, are the following:
Provision of services/fulfillment of contractual obligations: processing for this purpose is necessary to execute the contract signed between Hertz Srl and the data subject and, therefore, to provide the contractually agreed-upon services. Providing personal data for this purpose is not mandatory, but without it, it will not be possible to provide any Services.

Marketing: to send, to anyone who has previously given their consent, marketing, promotional, and advertising communications via email, SMS, telephone, banners, instant messaging, through an operator, postal mail, and through Hertz Srl's official social media pages (RSS, LinkedIn, and YouTube) relating to Hertz Srl's and third-party products and services.
In the cases described in the previous points, Hertz Srl is authorized to process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, without the need to obtain specific consent from the Data Subject. Processing for the purposes described in the previous points is necessary to provide the services and, therefore, to execute the contract itself. Providing Data to Hertz Srl for this purpose is not mandatory, but otherwise, it will not be possible to provide any Services.
In relation to the above purposes, the interested party may object to their processing at any time and free of charge. In the event of withdrawal, the interested party will not be able to use the services specified above.
In the above cases, Hertz Srl will process data only after obtaining the data subject's consent. Providing consent, as further specified in Article 3 above, "Legal basis and mandatory or optional nature of processing," is not mandatory. Where consent is provided, the data subject is free to withdraw it at any time without any consequences (other than no longer receiving marketing communications). RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA The Data Subject's personal data may be sent to the subjects indicated below ("Recipients"):

Affiliated/Group companies for administrative purposes.

Professional orders or training bodies accredited with such orders.
Competent entities, bodies, or authorities to whom personal data must be disclosed in order to comply with legal obligations or prevent abuse or fraud.
TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA For purposes related to the execution of the contract, some data may be communicated to recipients located outside the EU Economic Area.

Indeed, transfers are carried out using appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or other safeguards deemed appropriate. PROCESSING METHODS The processing of personal data is carried out through the following operations: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data.
Personal data is processed both on paper and electronically and/or automatically, using a cloud-hosted website managed by our company and located in Italy. Data will be processed in a manner that ensures ongoing security and confidentiality. In compliance with European and national data protection regulations, Hertz Srl has implemented specific procedures to prevent unauthorized access to data, its improper or unlawful use, and its destruction or loss, even accidental.
Only duly authorized personnel may access the data in the course of their work.
PERSONAL DATA RETENTION Personal data processed for the purpose of providing the service will be retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve that purpose. In any case, since such personal data is processed to provide the products/services, Hertz Srl may retain it for a longer period, particularly as may be necessary to protect Hertz Srl's interests from potential liability related to the provision of the service.
